Introducing our April Theme
THIS RAVAGED WORLD
Fellow survivors! Grab your emergency gear and prepare for apocalyptic adventures aplenty! Our April theme will be THIS RAVAGED WORLD and will celebrate the heroes (and bandits!) battling to save the planet and dodge disaster.
About the books (there are TWO!):
BOOK ONE is set in a bustling capital city on the brink of being swallowed by a terrible flood. When a powerful leader abandons her position, her young maid servant is thrust into her place, where a world of politics, lies and big decisions beckons. But can this unlikely heroine, save the people, pets (!) and world she loves so dearly, before water bursts through the city walls? 
BOOK TWO is an action-packed tale about a future England where floods, gunfights and monsters have created a dangerous land. In this strange new world (think wild west meets dystopia!) the fates of two unforgettable outlaws collide. Suddenly a runaway serial criminal finds herself saddled with a new partner in misconduct: a seemingly hapless boy companion, guarding dark secrets of his own…
Our featured reads are both stunning, new release YA paperbacks, filled with gutsy characters, apcoalyptic vibes and dark humour! If you love Dystopian fiction like Red Rising, Handmaid’s Tale and The Hunger Games – you will adore this action packed box.
As ever, both of our featured reads will arrive beautifully gift-wrapped and each will be accompanied by a signed bookplate from the author.

There will be an exclusive author book group:
April members will be invited to join us in our online Clubhouse for book group/apocalypse survival planning. Here, you’ll get the chance to chat with both of the authors of our featured reads, ask your questions about this month’s books (or pretty much anything else) and make new unashamedly bookish friends! Emergency book group snacks at the ready!

April THIS RAVAGED WORLD boxes and Purely Books memberships are available from our Subscriptions Page now. As ever, we only have a limited number of boxes available so get yours before they all disappear!
Existing Book Box Club members can relax, we’ve already got your April themed bookish parcel set aside and we’ll be sending it to you around April 15th, unless you tell us not to before renewal day on March 25th.
