Introducing… the QUENCH QUEST CHALLENGE! 

Here are Book Box Club HQ, we’re on a mission to drink more water, so we’ve designed our very own (delightfully PG!) drinking game, to help you banish thirst whilst you read! In order to play, you’ll need…

• Your Quench Quest water bottle – from the August 21 STRANGER THAN FICTION box;
• Plenty of water or your favourite squash, cold tea or similar;
• A trusty stack of YA books.

Here’s how to play…

Fill your Quench Quest bottle to the top and settle down in your favourite cosy reading spot. Look out for the drinking cues below in your book, every time you encounter one of these iconic YA moments, drink to the next point down the scale of your botle. Before you know it, you’ll have blitzed your book and quenched your thirst!

Take a sip if…

• Your book has one of these words in the title: “blood”, “ash”, “fire”, “ice”, “crown”, “shadow”, “forest”, “stars”, “girl”
• The hero or heroine realises they’re the chosen one
• Someone discovers they have a secret power
• Someone lets out a breath they didn’t know they were holding
• Evil is vanquished
• Your book includes orphans, or the main character has absent parents
• Your book includes an awkward love triangle
• Your book describes the way a boy smells
• The characters in your book discover a prophecy or a family secret
• Your book has a misunderstood baddie with a heart of gold
• Somebody in your book has gone missing
• The cover of your book has the back of a girl’s head on it
• Your book includes a snog/steamy moment!
