Amidst this global crisis we’ll start by sending lots of positive vibes to you and your loved ones.
It’s been a challenging week and small businesses everywhere have been struggling in the face of so much uncertainty.
Although this is an ever-changing situation, please be assured that we are doing everything we can to continue to bring some bookish joy into your lives. We are currently hopeful that your June COURAGEOUS AND KIND boxes will be posted to you safely and on schedule.
HOWEVER… due to the nature of the state of emergency, here in the UK and around the world, it is with a heavy heart that we have had to make further updates to our international postage prices.
The UK has been hit badly by COVID-19, resulting in a huge decline in the number of flights travelling from here to international destinations. The infrequency of flights has led to a big rise in postage prices.
Sadly, as a small business, we simply can’t afford to absorb these costs and we have to pass them on to our customers. From today, international postage prices have been updated and your future renewals will be charged at the new rate.
We hope that this increase in costs will be temporary and we’re working closely with our postal partners at Royal Mail to try and negotiate better rates, despite the situation with Coronavirus. We will of course update you if we have any success and are able to reduce the prices again.
In the mean-time please accept our apologies and know that having members from all over the world means so much to us and we hope that we’ll be able to resolve this issue soon.
